AFIS – Association Française d’Ingénierie Système refers to the official chapter of INCOSE, France. Its objectives are focused on:
The Spanish Association of Systems Engineering (AEIS) established according to the Act 30/1992 is the official representative of INCOSE in Spain since 2019 (Spanish Chapter of INCOSE).
AEIS is located in the Royal Academy of Engineering (calle Don Pedro, 10 en Madrid) reaching an official agreement to promote the Systems Engineering in Spain.
This is the Associazione Italiana di Systems Engineering, INCOSE Chapter Italia. The Italian chapter has been very active over the last four years, organizing seminars and introductory courses on a variety of topics: Requirements Management, the «systems architecting», the «architectural frameworks», the SysML, security systems and others.
In addition, we have established good relationships with academic institutions, which allowed the organization of courses on «systems engineering» as part of the post-graduate Master programs.
The Swiss Society of Systems Engineering (SSSE) is a non-profit organisation formed in 2011 by a group of like-minded Engineers, working across a broad range of industries, who share the passion of practicing, advancing and promoting Systems Engineering (SE) principles. SE is fundamentally: «doing engineering better».
We are actively organising informational lectures, seminars and events on various SE topics ranging from «Concurrent Engineering in the Space Industry» to «a Beginner’s guide to the SE Handbook» (essentially the reference book for SE, published by INCOSE). All of our events are free of charge. See our events page for more information.
The SSSE has also been recognized officially as the Chartered Swiss Chapter of INCOSE (International Council on Systems Engineering).

Our first Chancellor was Professor Gregorio Peces-Barba.
The mission of Carlos III University of Madrid is to contribute to the improvement of society through teaching of the highest quality and cutting-edge research in line with stringent international guidelines. The University aspires to excellence in all its activities, with the aim of becoming one of the universities in Europe.
The university actively encourages the personal development of all those connected to the higher education community. All our activities are guided by the values of merit, ability, efficiency, transparency, fairness, equality and respect for the environment.
The French chapter of INCOSE (AFIS), the Italian chapter of INCOSE (AISE), the Swiss chapter of INCOSE (SSSE) and the Spanish chapter of INCOSE (AEIS) are organizing a series of events in Trieste, París, Zurich and Madrid. The purpose of these events is to promote Systems Engineering among practitioners and interested audience, and also to strengthen the links between the chapters. The format of the events is a lecture day at each venue. The intention is to have four talks that are repeated at each venue and complemented by a number of talks held locally at each venue.
This year you can again apply for the INCOSE certification credential (CSEP/ASEP) without paying any extra fee.
An INCOSE representative for certification processes will be present in all the stops.
