Luis estudió informática y estuvo durante tres años desempeñando labores de desarrollo software en distintos entornos, hasta que en 2001 empezó a ejercer como ingeniero de requisitos para proyectos europeos de control de tráfico aéreo.
Hasta 2016 estuvo trabajando como ingeniero de requisitos en sistemas de control de tráfico aéreo y sistemas de comunicaciones de voz IP. Desde entonces ha estado involucrado, como ingeniero de sistemas, en las dos ramas del ciclo de vida en V para proyectos aeronáuticos. Actualmente es coordinador de un equipo de capacidades de Ingeniería de un Sistema de Sistemas en un gran proyecto europeo de defensa.
Miembro de INCOSE, forma parte de la comisión de comunicaciones de AEIS y colabora también como responsable de Linkedin de INCOSE EMEA.
Ha obtenido las certificaciones CSEP de INCOSE y SysML Model User de OMG.
Luis completed an HND in Information Technology in 1998 and he was developing software for three years.
Until 2016 Luis was working as requirements engineer in several air traffic management and voice communications systems until 2016. Since then Luis has been involved in several aeronautics projects as a systems engineer, being able to collaborate in processes pertaining to both sides of the traditional V-lifecycle. Currently Luis is the coordinator of a system of systems engineering capability team for an important european program.
Member of INCOSE, Luis volunteers as INCOSE EMEA assistant director for communications and is also a member of the AEIS board.
He is a CSEP and has recently obtained the OMG OCSMP-MU Certification.
